Effective October 16, 2026
This policy describes how Inflight Technology LLC ("we", "us"), 14 Commerce Street, Suite 106, Flemington, NJ 08822, handles information in connection with SquawkDesk at squawkdesk.app (the "Service"). SquawkDesk is offered to businesses located in the United States. We do not offer the Service to individuals or organizations in the European Union or the United Kingdom.
When you sign up we collect your name, work email, cell phone number, company name, mailing address and a password. We verify the email and phone number with one-time codes. Payment card details are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor; we store only a customer reference, the card brand and last four digits as reported by Stripe.
The Service processes the content you and your customers put into it: email messages and attachments received at connected mailboxes, tickets, notes, contacts, companies, knowledge base articles, satisfaction survey responses and time entries. This content belongs to you. We process it only to provide the Service.
If you connect a Microsoft 365 or Google mailbox we store an OAuth refresh token; if you connect by IMAP or SMTP we store the credentials you provide. These are encrypted before storage and used solely to read new mail and send replies on your behalf.
We log IP addresses, browser type, pages requested and timestamps for security and troubleshooting. We record administrative actions in an audit log visible to your account administrators.
Your customers who use your help center provide their email address (to receive a sign-in code) and whatever they include in requests. We process this on your behalf. You are responsible for your own privacy notice to your customers.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use your helpdesk content for advertising or to train machine learning models.
We share information with providers who help us run the Service: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS verification), Microsoft (when you connect a Microsoft 365 mailbox), our email delivery provider (transactional email), Wasabi (encrypted file storage) and IONOS (server hosting). Each is bound to use the information only to provide its service to us.
We disclose information when required by law, subpoena or court order, or when necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, the public or us.
Account and helpdesk data are retained while your account is active. After cancellation, data is retained for 60 days so you can reactivate or export, then deleted. Backups roll off within 30 days after that. Audit and security logs are retained for 12 months.
We use TLS for all traffic, hash passwords, encrypt stored credentials, store files in encrypted object storage, and support two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you without undue delay.
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We will post changes here and update the effective date. Material changes will be announced by email to account owners.
